Mona Pent- As an owner and instructor of New Dimensions we are dedicated to our staff and students. Our instructors and students are our future and success, as well as their own. Being in the beauty industry over 30 years as a cosmetologist, beauty shop owner, booth renter, and instructor, I am currently able to be involved in making a difference in someone's future. A job I don't take lightly. The school is family owned and operated. Along with my two daughters we have tried to make this facility a place that you will be happy to say " I am a graduate from New Dimensions." We are constantly trying to improve our facilty and have strived to hire the best staff possible. We are proud of all our staff members as well as our graduates and current students. Dawn Mac Arthur- I am a co-owner of NewDimensionsBeautyAcademy. I am a licensed cosmetologist and graduated from beauty school in 1994.I also spent the majority of my childhood in my mom's salon familiarizing myself with different aspects of the business.My time in the industry has been spent in commission-based salons performing hair, nail and skin services, including permanent makeup and eyelash extensions.Continuing my education through certificate courses, advanced classes and trade shows has been extremely valuable and rewarding.Learning new trends and expanding my expertise has made me a more confident and knowledgeable technician in the field.I have 8 years experience doing permanent makeup procedures and find this work to be very rewarding financially and emotionally.Building relationships with clients and being able to boost someone's self-esteem is one of the many reasons that I admire and choose this industry as my passion and career.I have enjoyed learning new trends and facts about all aspects of the beauty industry.Skin care has tremendously developed within the industry.Mastering different techniques such as a proper skin analysis, waxing, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, permanent makeup, eyelash extensions, nutrtion and retailing have really expanded my career. Exposure to different skincare,color and product lines are a major component for sucess. Advanced training in color and cutting techniques have also been invaluable.
Another advantage of my education is the fact that I have a Bachelor's of Science in Marketing.This has made me extremely comfortable and is very useful in this is field of work with regard to exposing the public to my skill level, maintaining balance as an independent contractor, retailing and overall communication.
Discovering your client's needs and listening are very important in establishing and retaining a customer base.I have over 10 years experience in retailing and
merchandising, as well as, 5+years experience being an Admissions Representative and Career Planner for The Metropolitan State College of Denver.

Julie Kelly- I am a Colorado native and have been in the beauty industry since 1982 being licensed in five different states including Nebraska, Wisconsin, Florida, and Kansas and finally returning to Colorado in 1994. After the birth of my son, I decided to pursue a different avenue within this industry, so I began teaching. My teaching experience has included continuing education within the industry. I have extensive master education in several fields in order to obtain my credentialing in cosmetology as an instructor for the Department of Higher Education for the State of Colorado. Holding Certifications with Dermalogica, OPI, Deplieve Waxing, Methodology (Teacher/Student Interaction) has prepared me to be the qualified educator that I want to be. What I enjoy most is sharing my knowledge with others and being able to watch them grow. The joys and smiles I see on the students' faces when they pass their test and receive their own license makes it all worth while. I feel very fortunate to be part of the staff here at New Dimensions Beauty Academy.

The owners of the school currently work in the beauty industry as owners, administration, and intructors at the academy. They are a family owned business, which believe education is the key to success by focusing on student needs. Our facility is built around the needs of our students in order for them to succeed in the beauty industry. The school attributes include a beauty resource center filled with educational material, videos, and a great staff for students to excel at learning.
