Healthy Hair

Not all heads of hair are created equal!  Some men and women are blessed with hair that looks perfect everyday.  However, if you do not fall into that catagory and have
damaged your hair over the years here are a few tips to help improve the appearance and bring back those lushes locks.
So let’s examime what caused the damage.  We ask these questions:
Do you color or chemically treat your hair?
Do you use styling tools and how often?
What are you eating?
Are you staying hydrated?
How much alcohol do you drink?
What products do you use on your hair?
How often you color or have chemical treatments on your hair is a key question.  Only a professional stylist would be able to tell you when you should apply any color or
treatment to your hair without damage.  Follow their recommendations to keep your hair healthy.
Styling tools such as flat irons and blow dryers can not cause damage unless they are used improperly or too often.  Make sure to use product that are formulated to protect
your hair against any heat damage.
What your body consumes comes out in your hair and skin. Having a very healthy diet can be hard but is neccessary for clear skin and healthy hair.  Are you eating enough
fruits, vegetables and proteins everyday.  If you know you are not going to eat vegetables, fruits and proteins you can take vitamins and
minerals to help your body stay healthy and thus producing great skin and lushes hair.
Are you drinking enough water each day?  Make sure you stay hydrated.  It is important not only for your hair but for your health.
Alcohol does dry out your hair.  Make sure you drink enough water when you are drinking alcohol.
The right products can help reverse damaged hair.  Using them properly is the key.  Getting recommendations from your stylist based on your hair type and diet is important.
Try not to buy products from box stores always get your products from your stylist.  Yes they cost more but there is a reason.  The ingrediants are important when purchasing
your hair product.  Look for products that are designed to produce scalp health.  Dry damaged hair needs more attention when purchasing any product you place on your head.
Make sure you are looking for sulfate free products and products containg proteins, vitamins and amino acids.
Follow these tips and help your hair become the hair it was when you were younger!
